We are moving towards the Easter season, a time of renewed hope and the promise of new life. At this moment we are also at an extraordinary point in history --a watershed moment for peace, especially in the area of Nuclear Disarmament. News reports are full of these signs of hope, but we must recognize that they are also significant opportunities for us to be voices for peace. What is needed at this moment is a groundswell of public support for the elimination of nuclear weapons – the kind of grassroots movement that helped raise awareness and get the topic of climate change on the agenda.
Please follow the links below to learn more about nuclear disarmament and to sign the Global Zero declaration, joining the call for an end to all nuclear weapons around the world. The most important thing you can do, though, is to spread the word. Raise consciousness. Help build momentum as we move toward a nuclear free world.
