The plan speaks to educating, advocating and participating, as well as to sustainability.
There are two main thrusts under advocating: developing relationships with colleges and universities, and identifying regional associate directors.
The members have chosen three areas of focus for advocacy. They are Sustainable Development Goals.
Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 5: Achiever gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Other goals having a great deal of support are Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries which includes migration and Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
Participating includes maintaining and utilizing Partnership's DPI and ECOSOC status by attendance at the UN and at webcasts. It also includes having 2 youth representatives.
In order to sustain itself the Partnership is working to increase membership, to obtain grants, to re-establish alternative investments, and to develop a logo that makes PGJ's mission clear to potential members.
